Residenza il Girasole is a Farm Holidays situated a few kilometres from Perugia and Assisi. Part of an estate of over 5 hectares, between vines of Grechetto, Trebbiano and San Giovese and ancient olive trees, Farm Holidays Residenza il Girasole is immersed in a place of rare beauty, an incomparable naturalistic area. The thorough restoration has divided the building into 5 independant apartments, each one furnished with great care to detail, creating an ideal place to pass a worthwhile holiday in the quiet of the countryside.

› The Residenza is an ancient farmhouse of Bettona which has origins in the 1800’s. In the past the farmhouse was part of the large landed property belonging to the Santevecchi family, today the Residenza is the property of the Longetti family who after a long and careful restoration have created an ideal place to pass a holiday amidst the tranquillity of the Umbria countryside.

The numerous details bring to life the traditions of the countryside that a careful eye may recognise in the sandstone walls, the ceilings of original terracotta tiles signed by the potters of the area and other internal features of ‘Residenza il Girasole di Bettona’.

Guests of the ‘Residenza’ are people interested in a peaceful holiday, who also enjoy culture, art and the countryside. Many of the guests who are privileged to come on holiday here come to restore their sense of well being.

› The road system makes it easy to reach: it is advisable to have the use of a car to be able to follow the many wine and food routes that start from here and the cities and towns and their monuments.

 

› The tranquillity of the environment makes the idea of jogging, cycling and horse riding – for hire nearby- and other sports available in the vicinity, a pleasure. In the lawns surrounding the farmhouse we can find the swimming pool, open from June to October.
